APICS Santa Clara Valley ChapterThe Association for Operations Management is the global leader and premier source of the body of knowledge in operations management, including production, inventory, supply chain, materials management, purchasing, and logistics. Since 1957, individuals and companies have relied on APICS for its superior training, internationally recognized certifications, comprehensive resources, and worldwide network of accomplished industry professionals. The Santa Clara Valley Chapter was founded in 1968 and incorporated in 1981. We are one of the largest chapters in the APICS North America network of 270 chapters. The Santa Clara Valley Chapter is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing the resources and instruction needed for professionals to reach their educational and certification goals. Our headquarters are located in the heart of Silicon Valley, and our membership includes specialists from many of the Fortune 500 companies located in this region. AZBioAZBIO is committed to building the biosciences industry in Arizona by providing access to the key resources, connections and information in our biosciences community. This provides the foundation to be able to Connect, Collaborate, Innovate and Succeed; thus supporting the growth of a thriving economic environment for Arizona’s Bioscience Industry today and in the future. AZBio is the State Affiliate of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) located in Washington, D.C. and is acknowledged as such by the international bioscience organization, BIO. We work very closely with BIO on national issues and opportunities to bring Arizona and the members of our Arizona Bioscience Community to the national and international stage. We also work with AdvaMed, PhRMA and other national and international organizations to move our Arizona Bioscience Industry forward faster. BioBIO is the world’s largest biotechnology organization, providing advocacy, business development and communications services for more than 1,100 members worldwide. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products. Corporate members range from entrepreneurial companies developing a first product to Fortune 500 multinationals. We also represent state and regional biotech associations, service providers to the industry, and academic centers. The mission of BIO is to be the champion of biotechnology and the advocate for its member organizations – both large and small. Biotech Vendor ServicesFounded in 2003, BVS provides effective and cost-saving vendor management services to Life Sciences companies and institutes. We help drug delivery, clinical, manufacturing, and R&D departments of all sizes manage their suppliers by setting up customized vendor product shows, technology seminars and workshops to best meet our client’s needs. BVS can be utilized as your single information source for vendor management of manufacturing and distribution suppliers and BVS can assist companies and institutions of any size, whether they are virtual or have a lab. CLSACalifornia Life Sciences Association (CLSA) is the state’s largest and most influential life sciences advocacy and business leadership organization. With offices in Sacramento, San Diego, South San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington DC, CLSA works closely with industry, government, academia and others to shape public policy, improve access to innovative technologies and grow California’s life sciences economy. CLSA serves biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics companies, research universities and institutes, investors and service providers throughout the Golden State. CLSA was founded in 2015 when the Bay Area Bioscience Association (BayBio) and the California Healthcare Institute (CHI) merged. California Regional Investigational Supplies ProfessionalsCRISP, or the California Regional Investigational Supplies Professionals had our inaugural meeting in March 2010 with a goal to provide a full one day forum for folks to learn the latest clinical supplies information and network, in order to increase their value to their organizations. The vision of CRISP is to create the best and most popular educational and networking environment for clinical supplies professionals on the West Coast. CRISP will bring value to their attendees and members by providing up to the minute clinical supplies information and a forum for networking to increase connectivity on the West Coast. Council of Supply Chain ProfessionalsFounded in 1963, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) is the leading worldwide professional association dedicated to education, research, and the advancement of the supply chain management profession. A non-profit organization with over 9,000 members globally, representing business, government, and academia from 63 countries, CSCMP members are the leading practitioners and authorities in the fields of logistics and supply chain management. The San Francisco Bay Area RT is recognized for its dinner meetings. Institute for Supply Management, (ISM)As the largest supply management institute in the world, the mission of Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) is to lead supply management. By executing and extending its mission through education, research, standards of excellence, influence building and information dissemination — including the renowned monthly ISM Report On Business® — ISM continues to extend the global impact of supply management. ISM is a not-for-profit membership association serving more than 40,000 supply management professionals in 75 countries. ISM offers credentialing to professionals around the world with the Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) qualification. Supply Chain Management Institute (SCMI)The Supply Chain Management Institute was created in 1999 and today has a rightly deserved reputation for supporting the development of exceptional professionals who are sought after by industry and the public sector alike. The SCMI Advisory Board consists of senior executives of firms recognized as being on the leading edge of their respective industries and fields. USD’s MS-SCM is one of the leading programs in the world, possessing both Institute of Supply Management (ISM) approval and Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) accreditation. Women in Logistics (WIL)WIL is a nonprofit organization incorporated under the name of Women in Logistics with members, both men and women, from the following industries: Logistics, Transportation, Freight Forwarding, Technology, and Supply Chain Management. Since 1981, WIL has provided Bay Area logistics and transportation professionals a forum to promote career growth through education and networking. |
